• 40% reduction in GHG emissions compared to baseline 2019.
Scope 2 Emissions
• 78% reduction* in GHG emissions compared to baseline 2019. *The reduction in Scope 2 emissions in 2024 is primarily due to temporary transitions in facility operations, including office closures. As we plan to expand our operations, we remain committed to our GHG emission reduction goals and will continue implementing sustainable measures to drive long-term emissions reductions.
GHG Emissions
Scope 3 Emissions
• 77% increase in GHG emissions compared to baseline 2019.
Energy efficiency
• The energy audit provided information on the implementation of energy efficiency upgrades at our Oakville headquarters*, such as insulating domestic hot water pipes to reduce heat loss and a complete transition to LED lighting throughout the office. *As our largest office, our headquarters holds a significant position in contributing to our Scope 1 emissions. • In 2024, Geotab purchased renewable energy certificates (RECs) equivalent to approximately 16.4% of the electricity consumed at our Oakville headquarters. • 86.5% waste diverted from landfills in 2024. While we achieved a 7.7% increase in our waste diversion rate compared to 2022, our 2024 performance fell short of 2023 levels. Recognising this, we remain committed to monitoring our performance, promoting proper waste sorting practices among employees.
