Waste management Approach
Goals
Geotab is committed to minimising waste and maximising waste recovery across operations and the value chain, contributing to a circular economy while minimising impact on the environment. Waste reduction at source is implemented through initiatives that minimise consumption, promote reuse and encourage responsible disposal practices.

2025 GOAL
DIVERT MORE THAN 90% of waste at headquarters from landfills by 2030 (across all major waste categories).
INCREASE WASTE DIVERSION RATE AT HEAD OFFICE by 10% each year compared to 2022 figures.
2024 highlights
DIVERTED 86.5% of waste from landfills at the Oakville headquarters.
DIVERTED OVER 1M plastic water bottles from landfills utilising water dispensers and Bevi machines.
DIVERTED & RECYCED OVER 453 KG of snack wrappers.
RECYCLED OVER 5,896 kg of electronics (Oakville) in 2024, equivalent to the weight of a city delivery truck, an increase of over 200% from 2023.
