Risk management and resilience Geotab's risk assessment process is focused on identifying, evaluating and mitigating risks across environmental, operational and technological domains. We employ a data-driven approach to monitoring and assessing risks such as supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance requirements and climate change impacts. Geotab actively addresses climate risks by setting science-based emission reduction targets and optimising energy use within its operations as well as supporting fleets in transitioning to low-carbon operations with tools like the Sustainability Center , Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report, EV charge monitoring and EV Suitability Assessment . Geotab also addresses climate-related supply chain risks by working to lower customer and partner emissions and promote business continuity plans, enhancing resilience against climate disruptions. At the same time, Geotab sees significant opportunities in climate action, such as driving the adoption of electric vehicles, creating data-driven solutions for fleet efficiency and leading the development of greener transportation systems. By embedding climate change considerations into its operations and partnerships, Geotab is reducing its exposure to risks while positioning itself as a leader in sustainable mobility. The governance framework ensures adherence to ethical and legal standards while also prioritising data security and the ethical use of AI, mitigating risks associated with technological advancements. By embedding risk assessment into operational and strategic planning, Geotab enhances its resilience and supports its long-term commitment to sustainability.
