Employee Engagement and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
• Continuously provide activities where Geotabbers can participate in Diversity and Inclusion educational activities such as Learning Live sessions, roundtable discussions, and gender or cultural events to celebrate Black History Month, International Women's Day, Pride and others.
At Geotab, our strength has always been our people. We are committed to cultivating a workplace where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. Geotab's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), with over 900 members, engaged employees with company-wide, educational communications on various days of recognition and remembrance throughout the year: • Geotab’s Veterans Programme : Recognizes and supports the contributions of veterans and their families. This programme focuses on engaging veteran employees, partnering with veteran-owned businesses, developing veteran support and hiring initiatives, and extending support to military spouses and families. • BIPOC+ (Black, Indigenous and All People of Color): Black History Month is an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, sharing stories that amplify Black voices, and hosting activities to celebrate Black excellence. • Wednesday is for Women: A weekly spotlight dedicated to the voices, stories, and wisdom of women. From insightful podcasts and life-changing books to personal reflections, this series is designed to spark meaningful conversation and foster deeper connections within the community. • Women@Geotab: Catalyst Conversation. A discussion series providing a dedicated space for women to connect and engage in generative conversation. Exploring powerful ideas through curated video talks and podcasts, the series fosters a supportive community for sharing experiences within the tech industry and beyond. • Pride and Paint Night: The 2SLGBTQIA+ and Allies ERG hosted an in-person social event to celebrate uniqueness and creativity. • Diwali Celebration: A celebration of the festival of lights with a selection of foods and desserts at Geotab Atlanta. • Our Campus Programme cultivates early-career talent by bridging professional development with community stewardship. Throughout 2025, we hosted 31 dedicated opportunities for our students—ranging from networking events and "Lunch & Learn" sessions to high-impact volunteer initiatives. In 2025, our Campus Programme continued its commitment to addressing food insecurity. Across four key events in Mississauga and Waterloo, our interns and students sorted enough food to provide a remarkable 24,000 meals for local families. • In 2025, Geotab's High School Outreach programme and Take Our Kids to Work Day engaged over 150 students through HQ visits, classroom presentations, and virtual sessions, while further strengthening our community impact through strategic partnerships with organizations like the Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC). These initiatives resulted from the cross-collaboration of our Campus Ambassadors, who worked together to deliver mentorship and career insights to the next generation of talent. • The GO Green team offers Geotab employees the opportunity to contribute positively to the environment through action and education. In 2025, employees participated in several volunteer events to benefit their local community, including park clean-ups in Las Vegas, Waterloo, Altanta and Oakville, e-waste diversion, and a native seed initiative in partnership with Oakvillegreen. This project focused on increasing native plant populations to support critical species, such as the Monarch butterfly, which depend on these specialized habitats. Employee efforts helped improve the urban forest ecosystem and increase local biodiversity. • With each open position our talent team actively encourage and pursue a diverse candidate pool, including women and underrepresented groups, as part of our effort to acquire the best talent. • Geotab's Campus Programme continues to scale, expanding from 223 interns in 2024 to 279 in 2025. These placements across various various departments within the U.S. and Canada are fueling the next generation workforce.
