The City of Carmel’s Street Department uses a custom dashboard to manage the safety and sustainability of their diverse fleet, including street sweepers, pickups, vacuum, bucket and tree trucks. A custom solution from Geotab and their reseller helps Carmel Street Department validate emissions reduction from their B20 biodiesel fuel pilot programme, while monitoring idling to lower gas costs, along with speeding, seat belt usage and harsh driving to uphold a safety-first culture.
