Leadership in sustainable electronics recognized with EPEAT Purchaser Award Geotab was awarded a 2025 EPEAT Purchaser Award by the Global Electronics Council ® (GEC) for its efforts in sustainable procurement. Since 2022, Geotab has been committed to exclusively procuring IT equipment certified under Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT). In 2025, this initiative resulted in avoidance of 47,700 kg of CO 2 equivalents (kgCO 2 e), an impact comparable to removing 11 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles off the road for a year. 3 Additionally, Geotab achieved 208,800 kWh in energy savings, which is equal to the annual electricity consumption of 18 average U.S. households. 4 Beyond carbon reductions, these sustainable purchasing choices successfully reduced 7,300 kg of non-hazardous waste, directly supporting our long-term waste management and diversion goals.
The GO Recycle Program The GO Recycle program remains a key element of our commitment to manage the environmental impact of our products at the end of their useful life. We facilitate the secure and responsible disposal of GO devices and accessories through partnerships with R2-certified, or equivalent, recycling centers. We encourage our customers and partners in registered regions to return products to these certified facilities, ensuring materials are given a second life. Through partnerships with ACE, eCycle, and the Blind Center for local and inclusive recycling, we successfully collected and recycled over 3,800 kg of devices and accessories in 2025, marking a 52% year-over-year increase in the GO Recycle Program. We also launched an internal program, allowing employees to responsibly recycle their personal Geotab devices through our established, certified channels at our Oakville headquarters.
