How is Geotab addressing climate risk? Geotab conducted its first comprehensive climate risk and opportunity assessment in 2025. This initial analysis provides valuable insights to inform our future planning and prioritization, supporting ongoing efforts in key areas such as supplier engagement, product lifecycle design, and resilience planning. Our primary focus is integrating the findings with long-term strategy and risk management processes to ensure alignment between our climate commitments, operational strategy and business resilience. Future assessments will help refine our methodologies and allow us to track progress against the identified risks and opportunities as our approach evolves.

Automating carbon management for efficiency and accuracy Geotab implemented a new carbon and energy management platform to enhance the GHG data capture and calculation process across all three scopes. This strategic adoption has streamlined the reporting process by utilizing bill scanning and utility integrations, which allow us to calculate emissions directly from primary sources. By automating these data streams, we significantly reduce manual work and enhance the quality and reliability of Geotab’s emissions disclosures. This system allows us to trace our data from the initial activity through specific emission factors to the final report. This end- to-end visibility, supported by quality control procedures, ensures that our inventory represents a reliable account of our environmental impact.
